Upgrade your Fortunata experience with the Bonfire upgrade, available only for Fortunata World Pass 1 holders!

Burn and upgrade your World Passes to ERC-721, adding a new House of Elfholm trait to your pass. This trait entitles you to a boon from the Elves — a power-up item to be used during forthcoming game playtests. If you have Dice of Good Fortune, you can burn and upgrade those too, to enhance your Dice with two new additional traits to be enjoyed during gameplay.

The Dice of Good Fortune upgrades will also introduce two new traits of their own — Boosts and Elements of Fortune — that may be useful during future dice rolling experiences.

Boosts can trigger superpowered dice rolls in the right situations, while the Elements of Fortune include Light, Dark, Time, Space, and Psychic.

Bonfire is the first event compatible with Dice of Good Fortune. Bonfire plugs in to the Power attribute to allow owners to try to influence their fate and select a House trait of their choosing.

Beyond Bonfire, we plan to integrate Dice of Good Fortune into our product, and continue experimenting with fun and exciting dice rolling experiences that take advantage of the full range of possibilities.

Each Elvish faction awards World Pass holders a unique in-game item. Gem of Blinding, Ears of the Forest, the Valorfruit, Passion’s Flame, and Dreamer’s Bliss all offer in-game bonuses to players and represent the corresponding faction’s point of view on Fortunata.

These items can be used during forthcoming playtests, but they are not NFTs. In the future, based on playtesting results and popularity, these items may become NFTs that could be traded on marketplaces.

ERC-721 is a more favorable smart contract for collectors (more visibility on marketplaces, easier to track), and better for future HS experiences we may build (easier to track and reward collectors and players).

This will also be the first event compatible with Dice of Good Fortune.

We think the best way to reward holders is to make a fun game that grows in popularity, while giving the World Pass and Dice of Good Fortune more utility in the game. Bonfire is designed to do just that.

We plan to leave Bonfire open for a healthy period of time so all holders get the chance to receive their faction of choice. After a certain period of time, upgrades will still be possible but you will receive a different trait, unassociated with the Houses of Elfholm.
